Tried and tested… Blackberry smoothie
So with that out of the way lets have some delicious fun! You can use any berry you want for this smoothie, but I particularly like the rich purple colour my smoothie gets from blackberries and have this as a pre/post gym workout treat.
- 1 cup coconut/almond/hazelnut/ milk
- 1TBS almond butter
- 1 banana
- 1/2 – 1 cup blackberries
- pinch cinnamon
Additional – as I use it before or after the gym
- I like to add One World Whey protein powder
- You can also add stevia, honey or maple syrup if its not sweet enough for you
Blitz all ingredients together in the blender until creamy and smoothie consistency.
I like to freeze my bananas and berries, so when blended it becomes like a cold milkshake without the additives and preservatives, only natural goodness. Enjoy!
