I love chia seeds apart from when I spill them all over the bench (those little seeds sure know how to soak up water and make your sponge go gooey!). These amazing little seeds come from the flowering plant in the mint family that’s native to Mexico and Guatemala (Chia means “strength” in the Mayan language). They were a favourite staple of the Aztec and Tarahumara tribes, hence why they are often referred to as an ancient super food. Like all natural super foods there is not just one you can take that will give you everything you need, but a healthy varied diet that will get you feeling super duper! The Chia Chocolate Tea Cup


1 TB Chia Seeds
1 Cup coconut/almond milk
1/2 tsp honey or stevia drops
1TB of cacao powder


Grated Dark Chocolate
Shredded coconut
Sliced fruit/berries
Shredded coconut
Protein powder
