A balancing blend of sacred native herbs which has the sweetness of the heart, yet the tart openness and purity of the sun. Hand-blended with love and in prayer. A little bit of this tea goes a long way, as it’s power weaves connection.

Ingredients: Strawberry gum, rosella flowers, rose, native lemongrass, lemon myrtle and cinnamon myrtle.

Preparing tea in a sacred way means pouring all one’s attention into slow focused movements. The whole process is not only about drinking tea, but also about preparing your space, yourself, aesthetics and one’s heart. Is a collaboration between my good friend Desert-Rain Magpie and myself. The inspiration for this tea came about after one of our women’s weaving circles. Once the idea to create a tea together emerged the elements for the tea came together very easily and continues to weave it’s magic in its own way.

A beautiful blend of powerful herbs for wellbeing, connection and weaving. Let the magic of native herbs, flowers and leaves to nourish and support you. As you drink this tea let the wisdom of nature connect with your body and determines what healing you need right now.

Drinking tea and herbs has a long history. It is something people have been doing for centuries all around the world and these days we can create our own tea ritual’s that will enhance our lives; so we slow down and embrace the many benefits of tea on a physical, mental and emotional level.

Brewing Guide

Water Temperature: 90°C Drink hot or cold
1 cup = 1 tsp
1 pot = 1-2 tsp

You can add local honey for extra sweetness if required.

*Do not consume if pregnant.

Tea ritual is an easy way to start a mindfulness practice, as not only are you hydrating and getting protective antioxidants into your body, tea also helps to keep you young and vibrant. Drinking tea in silence and mindfully is an easy practice to infuse into your morning or evening routine.

Desert-Rain Magpie is a Noongar woman from South-West Western Australia currently living and raising a family on Kombumerri Country in the Gold Coast. She is a First Nations Artist who has a passion to share her culture and tradition through stories, arts and cultural activities. Desert-Rain has completed a Bachelor of Indigenous Studies majoring in Trauma & Healing and is qualified in Dreamtime Healing using Holographic Kinetics. She uses these underlying skills to create a safe space that is culturally appropriate for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous participants so we can walk on this land together as friends and equals, and you too can share our pride in the oldest continuous culture in the world.
